Dec 4 — Annual Point Loma & OB Dems Holiday Party & Toy Drive!

  • Sunday Dec 4, 2022

  • 1:30PM

  • Address provided when RSVPing - info@pointlomadem.org

Reminder — There is no meeting in November, instead we're rolling straight into celebrations on December 4th at 1:30PM.

Holiday Party

We're delighted to announce our first Holiday Party and Toy Drive since 2019! — at the home of Leslie Bruce in Pt Loma.

Come enjoy the start of the holidays with your fellow Dems, and celebrate all of the great mid-term victories. We'll be serving drinks and appetizers.

There's no entry charge, but the Party is for members only. If you're already a member just let us know you're coming.

If you're not yet a member, you can signup for 2023 membership now! Pay your dues and confirm your Democratic credentials — online here.

With COVID-19 still at large we'll be having the event outdoors, so we've moved up the start time to 1:30PM to catch some sun and warmth. Be mindful of the weather report before heading over.

Please invite your friends and potential members to attend and meet fellow Democrats and elected officials, in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

The Club will be collecting unwrapped new toys for the Toy Drive of the Western Service Workers Association, and Brandon McDonald will talk about the great work that the WSWA does in San Diego.

The Club will be collecting unwrapped new toys for the Toy Drive of the Western Service Workers Association, and Brandon McDonald will talk about the great work that the WSWA does in San Diego.

WSWA needs 500 toys for their Holiday Toy Distribution by December 15! These toys for the parents of WSWA's low-income members will make a tremendous difference this year when inflation is at a 40-year high. Toys may be:

  • brought to the Point Loma/Ocean Beach Club holiday event

  • brought to WSWA's office 7 days/week 9am-9pm, or

  • but them online from the WSWA Holiday Toy Registry

WSWA's biggest need is always VOLUNTEERS! A great way to fill time after the election is to deliver holiday food boxes, volunteer on our Preventive Medical Benefit or organize for affordable water and utilities. Call today!
